Clear: The highest grade. Clear cedar includes only pieces with the heartwood on the exposed face. Many pieces are completely clear, some may have minor imperfections that do not distract from appearance.

STK: Select Tight Knot consists of very few defects and any knots present are sound and tight.

POPLAR

Poplar wood is considered a hardwood by species, but this can be confusing due to it typically being softer than pine, a softwood. Poplar typically has a straight, uniform grain, with a medium texture. Very easy to work with, one of poplar's only downsides is its softness. Due to its low density, Poplar can sometimes leave fuzzy surfaces and edges.

STOCK DIMENSIONS:

  • 1X4 THROUGH 1X12
